Subject: End of Year Party Date: 2010-2月-20日 It is only February, and it has been God damn busy since the first day of this damn busy year, god, it can only get worse… We had our year end party tonight, and came back home around 2pm. My dress was a bit too big for me and made me look a little bit fat, but I was not bothered to adjust it, hehe. Larry wore the Valentine’s tux I bought for him. The party was held at Carlton Towers, it is a 19th Century sensational Gothic style mansion place, lol, it looked great! We had great fun, the meal was great although I was not very impressed by the steak, but the starter and dessert were gorgeous! Subject: Anniversary Date: 2010-2月-18日 Today was our anniversary, two years already, who would have though it... Crystal is supposed to also be ordering me a netbook, so that I can do work while on the move... £300 is not that bad for a brand new one. Subject: Anniversary Date: 2010-2月-18日 How time flies! I say this all the time, it is all Larry’s fault! He makes my time pass too fast! Today is our two years anniversary, we went out to the restaurant we had our wedding reception. I always order the same thing every year, because it is soooo nice! I was supposed to get Larry a new laptop as Valentine and anniversary present, but because it is such a new model, it is not in stock yet, I had to request it internally in our company and hopefully we can get it soon, but now he only has a picture to look at, lol! Subject: New Year and Valentine’s Day Date: 2010-2月-14日 Today is our New Year and Valentine’s Day. Larry had to work from 9am to 9pm, we only ended up having some dumplings while watching Ice Age 3 together at night, we did not have time to have a traditional big feast, what a pity couple…. Larry gave me a Hello Kitty bed warmer, a little tiger with a rose and a Hello passport holder, ahhhhh~~~~~ I am so spoiled, hehehehe. I got him a tux a while ago. Subject: New Year and Valentines Day Date: 2010-2月-14日 Two celebrations in as many days. First of course is Chinese New Year. Yesterday I was working all day, and I mean all day, from 9 in the morning until about 9 at night... not good. Today I was also working, but finished about 5:30pm, so we ate together and watched Ice Age 3. It is actually not that bad, providing you get past the fact that they portray a lost land deep under the Ice, yet there is still sunshine lol :P There also seems to be so many sexual jokes in there also, great fun. Apparently, this new year is also bad luck if you have children or get married. Traditionally spring falls as the end of January and the New Year should be before it. This year however falls after it, which means the Tiger babies born this year will be born without spring, which is traditionally very bad luck. Because of this, it is also known as the widow maker year, and if you get married, the husband will die prematurely due to an accident. Subject: History Date: 2010-2月-12日 Today I had a meeting with a 2nd year history student, he would like a website created that ties in with a big project that he a and few others are involved in. Subject: Strange Date: 2010-2月-09日 Well, a strange day with a number of events, sunshine, hail, and rain... before yet more sunshine. I also received my marks for the other exams and I passed both. I am not too sure which I should be more socked at, passing MIP as I hate maths or passing a paper I was very convinced I had failed as I did not really get to finish it. Well as long as I have passed them I can just move on and concentrate on the next exams now. The next one is actually an open exam we get given next week for Software Engineering, followed by another open exam for Web Design. I am hoping to gain a distinction on both, but may end up gaining only a distinction for only one, we will see though. Author: Larry

Subject: Prawns Date: 2010-2月-09日 I bought a half kilo of very fresh huge king prawns today, but Larry does not eat prawns….so I had it all by myself, hehehehe~ Larry has passed all the exams from last term which surprised me. He is not good at math, we had revised mad together for a whole week before for MIP. I tried my best to teach him more stuff and he was really hard working too, I am very glad he has passed. Subject: Gift Card Date: 2010-2月-05日 We had a gift card from Larry’s Archaeology classmates when we got married. Ahh, they were such great people and I really miss them, especially a few of them! It is always a great pleasure to talk to intelligent people who know a lot of interesting things. Anyway, Larry hid the card somewhere really safe so I couldn't accidently throw it away when I clean the house. He hid it somewhere soooooooooo safe that he couldn't even remember. We came back from China after Olympics and it was gone, we turned the house inside out and upside down but we couldn't find it. He insisted that I had thrown it away and often laughed at me. First I thought it was impossible, but then I considered that I am such a clumsy person so I was not even 100% sure. So he has told everybody his clumsy wife had throw our money away….I have spent God damn nearly 2 years living in guilt!!! 2 years!!!! And sometime this month I can’t remember when, he found it in our wedding photo album!!! God I don’t believe it!!! He thought we had to spend it today just in case I throw it away again >_< We got a toaster and a nice watch for my dad. The toaster was Philips, Phillips likes Philips for some reason. Today I went to see one of the lecturers to discuss a possible web design project that will involve researching different cultures. Subject: HCI Result Date: 2010-2月-01日 Today I found out my HCI result, and I did not do as well as I thought I would have. 25/50 or 50% is not so great. It is still a pass I guess, but I am not sure why it was so low, with all but one question answered fully and with many examples given for which I do know that they were right, I fail to see why it was so low. Nevermind, a pass is a pass, and there are people that failed it, I am not so confident that I will pass CSI now though. Author: Larry
